My Go-To Night in Rosemary Beach

Updated: Sep 14, 2022

There are so many things to do on 30A and in Rosemary Beach specifically, but I have to say my go-to night in Rosemary is definitely my favorite. After coming in from a long day on the beach get ready for a casual night full of great food and of course good company.

Start the night off with dinner at Cowgirl Kitchen. This restaurant is located on the on the beautiful cobblestone main street. It's close enough to the ocean that you can still hear the waves and smell the salt water. Grab a table on the sidewalk and watch pedestrians ride bikes and make their way up from the beach while you wait for your food. My go-to order here is the shrimp quesadilla. It's ideal greasy and cheesy meal that you're craving after a long day at the beach. As you finish up dinner walk next door to La Crema and get your name on the list for dessert. La Crema has divine food, but my favorite is their dessert. However, they tend to have a wait so go ahead and get your name down while you're finishing up at Cowgirl Kitchen-you'll thank me later!

Now that you've enjoyed some beach-style tex-mex, it's time for dessert! La Crema is located two doors down from Cowgirl Kitchen and the atmosphere makes you feel as if you are in a cafe in France. Once you're seated peruse the menu because they have some amazing dessert options, but if you want to go by my guide order a chocolate fondue for the table and split a chocolate molten lava cake (add vanilla bean ice cream on top of course) with a friend. I know it's a lot of sweets, but trust me it's well worth the stomachache! The fondue, as pictured below, will come out first to share with the table. Take your pick of various fruits, marshmallows, and poundcake to dip into the melted chocolate. Now that you've got a serious chocolate craving going it's time for the lava cakes! These are cooked to perfection with an outer crust and a molten chocolate interior. Make sure to get a spoonful of cake and ice cream at the same time for the optimal taste experience. After this dessert, you'll be ready to bike back to where you are staying and go to bed!

This truly is one of my favorite nights in Rosemary Beach and is now one that I have gotten all my friends hooked on as well. Try this night for yourself and I promise it will climb to the top of your "last meal" list in no time!
